Well I plugged in my battery charger ps to the camera ...hoping to see if the ps worked cause I think the charger is on the fritz but anyway is there a fuse in my camera that I can replace or did I just really screw up?
This is a Ultura DV cam .
Saw nothing in manual about any fuses.

This is a great 2nd cam hate to lose it . Guess I had a momentary lapse of brains this morning.

Any help wba!!!

Tony

Most (all?) cameras have a fuse, called a fusible link to prevent damage to the camera during power surges etc. However, the fusible link is not user serviceable and needs to be sent to a repair facility. This is a fairly simple repair and does not require factory service. Any authorized service center can do the repair.

You should be able to find a repair agency to do the work in the nearest large city (Nashville, Memphis, Chattanooga, Knoxville, etc.).

Tore it down to the main board really is not any fuse to replace way to small for human hands... replace it with a newboard is the only way

The 'fuses' are normally a semiconductor that looks much like a transistor. No functional difference between a lead-wire fuse and a semiconductor when they burn out. If you had the repair manual, you'd probably be able to ID the component.
