Can anyone help me find a Premiere Pro transition that looks like turning pages of a book or magazine, not a tacky symmetrical PowerPoint style transition?

Is there a third-party plug-in available perhaps?

I have After Effects 6 Professional also if there is a way to do it in that. Four-point corner pinning with a distortion filter?

Thanks.

Hmmm... Premiere 6.5 has a whole section of Page Peel transitions, with 5 different ones to choose from. They're listed with all the other Transitions, under "Page Peel."

Does Premiere Pro not offer them at all anymore? Or are you saying that the ones offered look bad?

If Adobe took them all out of P Pro, perhaps you can copy the ones from 6.5 and see if they work w/ Pro?

G'day John,

Yeah Pro has the transitions, but they look really unconvincing. I'm starting to think After Effects is the way to go. Use a combination of the motion-tracker and 4-point corner pinning. Maybe even film a "real" page being turned and superimpose my Premiere video track onto that?

I’m in the process of working through my Total Training DVD Tutorials for AE6 so I don’t know how to do this yet.

with the premiere pro built in page peel I cant work out how to change the colour of the reverse of the page (by default it is silver). I know in premiere 6.5 its shows a reflection of video track 1a (or b?!) on the page reverse but I cant see how to do it in premiere pro.
If anyone could get back to me with the answer within the next 48 hours I'd be eternally greatful!
