Hello Michael,
Some confusion here. The Panasonic DVX100A and its brother(s) are not DVCPRO cameras; they're MiniDV.

Nevertheless, as incredible as it may seem in a city this size, you'll have a challenge finding a DVX100A in any store here. Your best bet might be to call Circuit City stores in your area. You might also give Helix Photo (http://www.helixcamera.com/home.html) a call. They generally only carry Canon and Sony but I've not visited them in years.

If I misinterpreted your question and you really -do- want to shop for DVCPRO pro cameras you'd have to contact someplace like Roscor (http://www.roscor.com/).

Give Roscor a call. They sell and rent Panasonic gear and I noticed that they have a DVX100 on sale. Perhaps they can offer you a look.

Helix has a dvx for rental... or at least had one 5 months ago...

SMS here in Chicago is the best place for Panny. Mansung, the owner, is known city wide in filmmaking circles for his service and knowledge.

Mansung is a great resource. I second that.
