Hi all,
My name is Denis Basic [Bashich]. I am originally from Bosnia. I live, study and work in Seattle, WA. I am a Ph.D. candidate in Near and Middle Eastern studies at the University of Washington in Seattle. I am a passionate traveler, an aspiring documentary and feature film director, and a screenplay writer. Since March 2002, when I got my XL-1s, I have also been in love with challenges of operating a DV camera.
I plan to make a short art movie in Seattle. So, if there are any videographers in the larger Seattle area who would like to exchange their experiences with me or even to volunteer on my project, I would like to chat with them in person. In return I could help them on their projects.
Of course, I am here to exchange ideas and tips not only with Seattlites, but also with all other interested members of the DV community.
In the end I would like to express thanks to Chris Hurd, Ken Tanaka, Jeff Donald, Rob Lohman and other people for establishing, maintaining, and contributing to this extremely helpful web site.
The best of luck and a lot of success to all of you,
