CU-VH1US-P HDV Portable VTR

Anyone tried one? Wanted to get opinions before plunking down real money on it.

The CU-VH1 the "Clam Shell" as we call it, works great!

Essentially, it's a camera without the lense. It is fully compatible with any HDV firewire capture tool (Mac or PC).

It also works on batteries, which is fantastic for the road. A portable HDV deck for $2K!

We used it at NAB for our demos and it worked perfectly.

Well, Jeremiah, as our HD business grows, we'll BOTH get one. It's much easier than sending either hard drives, down-converts or the whole camera for you to edit.

I may grab one before the summer's over. But first, BUSINESS!
