Robin Davies-Rollinson May 29th, 2004, 10:11 AM You'll need a photo editing application. With that, you could resize, adjust colour balance - everything in fact to correct or "creatively interprete" your priceless gems. Failing that, Microsoft usually has a built-in photo-viewer in which you can just click on "print" and choose your output size. I use Vegas but I believe that the current version of Windowmoviemaker (or whatever it is called) allows you to frame capture. After you have capturecd the frame you will save it as a jpeg and then it can be printed. Finally, remember that the resolution of digital video, while fine for video, is far too limited to produce particularly pleasing results as stills if printed any larger tha 3-1/2" x 5" or so. If you want to go bigger, use a program like Genuine Fractal's Print or Qimage (though Adobe Photoshop's bicubic resampling isn't too bad) -- you won't, of course, get more detail or resolution, but you'll avoid really bad digital artifacts. |
