Hi all,

OK, I have been asked to help interview some candidates for a medium size company doing corporate, event, wedding etc.. (And I am not a Mgr.) And you were looking to hire someone to largely be an editor, and maybe occasionally a shooter for a job at your company.. What would you ask them in an interview??
Of course this person has a good resume and demo reel... and you are going to ask the necessary technical questions, which might be specific to the software that you are using.. Questions maybe about proper sound levels,,, color correction etc... I am interested in hearing what other kind of questions others have been asked, or have asked themselves to find a good person to do this kind of work..

Thanks

Some of the questions I've been asked are:

Do you have a vehicle

Do you speak another language or have particular knoweldge of different ethnic weddings (I work in a very multicultural city)

Are you able to work on short notice

What is the average amount of time it takes you to complete a video

What kind of styles of wedding video have you produced? (Candid, "music video", etc)

If your company does SDE's (same day edits) you should ask the editor: Can you make it to the venue to do the work, so you have or have experience working with laptops

OK, those are the first ones that come to mind
