Is there a plugin for the Mac that cleans up the chroma noise in the HD10u? I know there are a couple for the PC, but what about Mac?

I believe Lumiere HD comes with one. I don't know if Frederic will offer that alone without buying the full Lumiere HD.

the plugin that LumiereHD is including with their app is a special version of "G Chroma Noise Reduction" from Graeme Nattress

you can find a version of the filter "G DVNR" in his "set1" collection.

Untill I've decided wether to get Aspect HD for the PC I wanted to know if there's a free Chroma Noise Plugin / Filter for the PC, maybe a photoshop action / Premiere Filter even something for Combustion?

If anyone knows could you post a link!

Thanks,
Sam

I know but you need to spend around a grand on Aspect to get it!
Shareware/free filters around anyone?

Plus does Aspect HD support the HI-RES mode on the GR-PD1 yet as this is the only shooting mode I tend to use, the Hi-RES mode is 720x576 @ 25fps progressive scan, I'll never get Aspect unless I can deal with this mode, last time I noticed it supported PS50 mode (720x576@50fps) yet not the Hi-RES mode which most PAL users are gonna be using!

Aspect HD only partly supports the PAL GR-PD1. We can excellent the editing easily for the 25p and 50p modes, the issue we have is converting the 25p mode from M2T to AVI (50p works fine.) We hope to address this shortly.
