When a scene is sped up and a section is slow-mo the back to normal and so on. They use it all the time now.. Can you by it as a plug-in for Canon w/ pinnacle 12, I have tried on my own to do it but it's now quite the same..Thanks

This might have been better posted in a more general forum, but I'll answer it anyway :)

It's called 'ramping'. It is very difficult to do in post, mostly because slow-motion requires filming more frames-per-second at the point of capture. Usually, ramping is done in post, after slow motion has been shot. The entire shot will be done in Slow Mo, and then the beginning and end will be sped up, with an animated keyframe dictating where it will slow down and speed back up.

After effects cs3+ does really good with this. Dynamic Time Remapping is the term and can be done quite easily in after effects. Like the above poster said, better to shoot with more fps, or you can shoot normal speed and hike the speed up in post and transition from normal speed to high speed back to normal and you will get the same effect. All depends on how you shoot it though
