What camera footage will match the EZ30U better? A Panasonic EZ1 or a GS200?
View Full Version : Anyone know which camera would match the EZ30U? Paul Jason June 18th, 2004, 01:32 PM What camera footage will match the EZ30U better? A Panasonic EZ1 or a GS200? Frank Granovski June 18th, 2004, 03:30 PM A PV-DV950, which is the consumer version of the AG-EZ30U. After that, probably a Canon GL1. The GS120 and older GS70 might come close in terms of resolution but not in noise. Paul Jason June 18th, 2004, 03:50 PM Thanks Frank for the information. The rental house here has two Panasonic cameras, the EZ1 and the GS200. Of those two, will either of them work? or should I try and find another rental place and go for the two camera's you mentioned. Frank Granovski June 18th, 2004, 04:23 PM For the best match, I'd go for another EZ30 or a PV-DV950. Why take a chance? I often see used DV950's going pretty cheap you know where. (Just disengage the built-in image stabilizer, on both cams.) :-)) Paul Jason June 18th, 2004, 04:46 PM I thought that might be the case but was hoping one of the other cameras might work. Thanks again Frank. Frank Granovski June 19th, 2004, 12:10 AM I remembered earlier today that the AG-DVC10 and AG-DVC15 share the same CCDs, engine and lens than the AG-EX30U and the PV-DV950. I wanted to post it but I had to go out shopping with my wife. Peter Jefferson June 19th, 2004, 05:38 AM theres one on sale at ebay australia :) cant find it now.... :( but its there Paul Jason June 19th, 2004, 08:11 AM Thanks for all the replies. If anyone knows of a place in the Atlanta area that will rent one of the above cameras, let me know. |
