Andrew Petrie October 29th, 2002, 12:23 PM Yes, regular post. Sorry, but UPS is a utmost worst courier I've ever used (and I use couriers frequently) as far as international shipping is concerned. Horrendous brokerage fees, and as an added insult, slap on extra fee(s) (like handeling, etc...) on top of that.
Recent Example: I purchased 22 tapes from Pro-Tape. I paid $76 on top of the initial shipping fee to get them to my business door (I hate to think how much it would have been to my home)
Less hassle with FedEx, or your regular postal service.
Ken Tanaka October 29th, 2002, 12:56 PM OK. Well the US Postal Service is 'forgettaboutit' in my book. But I'll ship FedEx to Canadian customers (if one is interested). How about that?
Armand Rocco November 1st, 2002, 10:26 PM if product is still for sale and you take pay pal. let me know

Ed Frazier November 3rd, 2002, 08:26 AM Mike, do you still have the Premiere Upgrade?
Mark Nicholson November 3rd, 2002, 03:19 PM I have now put it on eBay.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1395259770
Edit: I have decided to add my copy of Media 100 CineStream if someone decides to buy-it-now. It is the full OEM version, with manual (550+ pages), blank registration card, and keyboard stickers.
Mike Rupp November 3rd, 2002, 04:19 PM Sorry, it was sold within a couple days. Thanks for your inquiry. Mike
Steven Forrest November 3rd, 2002, 06:38 PM Hi guys,
I am cross posting this on several sites because it is an excellent opportunity for someone to upgrade to a superior A/V system. Please forgive me if this is not allowed here.
I have obtained well over $3600 of A/V equipment over the last few months that I now, after seeing the components all assembled, KNOW will be wasted by me. I have WAY overshot any possible need for this A/V system and would like to sell it intact. I now realize that my 15-year-old regular 8mm camcorder that is still in perfect shape is all that I need to film the few family events I was expecting to use the new A/V equipment for.
The system is brand new and consists of:
Sony VX2000.
Sennheiser Mic. -->ME66 shotgun with K6 (with battery) mounted on an excellent shock mount built to go into the hotshoe and composed of 2 Sennheiser parts put together to make a compact and stable shock mount. (Shock mount system developed with the help of the Sennheiser rep.)
Sennheiser Wind Screen for the mic.
Equipment Emporium XLR to Mini-plug connector (made for them to deal with the electric current at the mic jack input on the VX2000) to connect the mic to the camcorder.
Sony Tripod (small light version, D580RM) with built in LANC control and quick release plate.
Sony 60 min Excellence MiniDV tapes with the Chip (10 of them).
Sony Highest Capacity Battery and Charger Unit for the VX2000.
Sony External Mic (not highest quality model (as is the mic. above), ECM-MS908C) that I will include.
Each part of this system is new and the most any part has been used is 30 minutes.
I want to sell it ALL as 1 package and will accept any offers above $3000 (firm).
Thank you. Please E-mail me privately if you are interested in this super system. Serious inquiries only please.
Steven Forrest
Mark Nicholson November 4th, 2002, 03:27 AM SOLD.
Gargoyle13 November 17th, 2002, 07:40 PM Hi.
I'm wanting to upgrade to a GL2. So I'm selling my GL1 in order to do so.
It has less than 2 hours on it and is in pristine condition. It is in all practicality still a brand new cam. Never been used as a deck. No hot/bad pixels. Stored always in a padded camcorder case in a controlled environment. Never had the UV filter off the lens from day one and I will include it with cam. Have used only Fuji DVM60 tapes with it. Still under original Canon 1 year warranty plus has 3 year MACK extended. Comes with all original factory accessories, charger, S-video cable and I'll throw in a Firewire, and extra batt, as well as original packaging all in factory new shape.
Will respond to any serious inquiries and offers. I will supply new pics of the cam in any angle and view requested. As I am in Alaska I will spring for shipping as well.
Asking 1700$ OBO
E-mail gargoyle13@cvinternet.net
Thanks.

Frank Granovski November 19th, 2002, 02:47 AM David,
Do post it on e-bay as well. I know your GL1 is basically still new and in mint condition. It's too bad you spend so many hours working, instead of shooting the great sites of Alaska.
Gargoyle13 November 19th, 2002, 07:14 PM It's going on tonight.
Nice to see you over here.
Yeah, I wish I could have got around more last summer, but that's the way it goes here, work in the good season and hybernate in the winter. (sigh).
Frank Granovski November 22nd, 2002, 04:22 PM That's a very good price. You should go post this on the camera forum at www.dv.com as well. Once you've sold it, I'm wondering, what are you planning on buying next? A GL2 or VX2000 or MX5000?

Frank Granovski November 23rd, 2002, 03:56 AM Any bites yet? Or are people asking you to give it away.... Hey people! This is like a (near) new GL1. I know this guy. He's been a good friend for almost 4 years.
Vinson Watson November 23rd, 2002, 04:24 PM I hope you or someone like you are around when I get ready to buy. (That'll be in 6 months atleast so I'm sure you would've sold this by then, you'll probably sell it in a few days). Have you shot anything with it yet. You should atleast do a short film or something then sell it.
-Vinson
Dan Holly November 25th, 2002, 01:14 PM I'll only keep this here for dvinfo members until sometime during the long Thanksgiving weekend (coming up this week), then it's off to ebay.
I will also consider trades etc. for XL1s/GL1/GL2 type gear/attachments/etc.

Jesse Meehl November 27th, 2002, 12:19 PM This Century Fisheye is made for the canon xl1s with 16x lens. I bought it from Zotz Digital about four months ago. It was only on my camera for about five minutes to test it, then I put it back in it's box and never used it again. It's in flawless condition.
I will sell this for $300 obo. For pictures or more information, email me.

Adrian van der Park November 28th, 2002, 01:44 PM what did you use this powerbelt for? and why are you selling it?
Dan Holly November 28th, 2002, 02:01 PM It was a secondary backup belt for on camera lighting.
I bought this not too long before we made the below modification, and felt comfortable that the below would work for us.
We recently rigged a 12v marine battery setup to our boat that can be recharged by running the boat's motor (very close to what you would see on a bass boat with electric trolling motors) so now this belt is excess for us.
Otherwise, we just lug it around as a "backup to the backup" power source. In addition, our Frezzi setup is 4 pin XLR, and we were using a 4 to 5 pin adapter.
If you are interested, let me know in the next day or so.......I'm having a "clean the garage sale" on ebay, and will have time to add this Friday or Saturday.
I do this kind of thing every year since your garage is valuable space up here in the winter......burr

Nathan Gifford December 2nd, 2002, 10:27 AM Pete,
Nathan Gifford December 2nd, 2002, 10:30 AM Sorry, my computer only sent part of the post...
It would probably be a good idea to at least give someone an idea of where you are if you want to sell them something.
Dylan Couper December 2nd, 2002, 10:38 AM Hood River, OR
I think.
Pete, are you insterested in splitting up the tripod and selling the head and sticks seperately?
Pete Stevens December 2nd, 2002, 11:06 AM Yes, Hood River OR and I would like to sell this kit complete... let me know if I can answer any more questions.
Dylan Couper December 2nd, 2002, 11:26 AM OK, it's not much of a light kit.
For sale:
Two Smith Victor model 700 lights. They are 650 watts, and use bi-pin tungsten halogen bulbs.
There is one light stand and base.
One extra base only.
One adapter thingy to mount the light to the stand.
One case (basicaly a hard shell briefcase).
No bulbs are included.
All equipment is in used but working condition. The case is in so-so shape.
I bought this off Ebay for $90us in the summer.
I'd like $90, but will take the best offer or will trades for anything (XL1 gear, producting equipment or extras, or just anything cool).
I can take Paypal (preferred) and will ship wherever you like at your cost.
I put a link to an Ebay auction of a similar item. Same item, only mine includes a case and second light, but DOES NOT HAVE BARN DOORS!!!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=801713375
DISCLAIMER: although these put out the same color and quality of light as professional lights, I would not consider them pro lights. If you need cheap lighting for a small production, they would do the job once you bought a second stand and bulbs.
Paul Sedillo December 3rd, 2002, 06:10 AM Still available.
ThreeSixtyProductions December 5th, 2002, 04:13 AM May I ask why you are selling?

Matt Betea December 22nd, 2002, 03:24 AM i thought i had it sold previously to a "friend" who didn't seem to understand that he gives me the money then takes the equipment. not he takes the equipment and "gets around to paying me" :/
anyways the kit includes:

all original accessories- battery charger, battery pack, shoulder strap, lens cap, lenshood, remote control, a/v cables, s-video cable.
addition accessories- bogen 501 head+3221 tripod, glidecam pro2000(weights included), canon wide angle wd-58H (with lenshood, only used 2 times), 4 tiffen 58mm filters (UV, polarizer, green#11, red#25. sealed head cleaner tape, canon lens cleaning kit, home depot hard case. manuals for gL1 and glidecam included.
due to costs i'd like to sell to US only. would prefer payment through paypal, if not money order is ok too. i have feedback at ebay under gbetea and heatware under mbetea. asking $1,800 shipped(ups), but won't turn down reasonable offers. reply here or email me at: mbetea@comcast.net
also have pics of everything, just let me know and i'll email them. thanks.
matt
El Pollo Loco December 27th, 2002, 02:43 AM Have you sold this yet?
Jesse Meehl December 27th, 2002, 05:07 AM Nope. It is still for sale.
klepdogg December 28th, 2002, 07:00 PM Hey folks.
I've got a practically new (I've turned it on maybe 6 times) Canon GL2 for sale. It's only about 2 months old and is so unused that I haven't even had a chance to fill out the warranty card yet. All accessories that came w/ it are here in MINT shape. I'm upgrading to a more expensive cam, so I have to get rid of my baby.
Asking $1900 + shipping (about $25) for it...paypal is preferred. E-mail me at klep@seanet.com if you're interested. Shipping to the US only from the Seattle area. I am a very credible seller...see ebay seller ID cklep614 (42 positives, 0 negatives).
