Does anyone use this?

Seems like a great idea, considering its price. I know there is another model which attaches to your camera and has removable fw drive. You can also daisy chain that model, but its twice the price of the desktop version.
For powered location shoots, seems like this with a tb drive would be great. No tape to worry about. I suppose, in analyzing the situation, you DO lose that root original media archive that saved tapes provide, but is that a big enough con to offset the advantage of no more all day fcp capture sessions?
Im thinking that you can still use tape whenever you want, whether you have the firestore going or not. Im really just curious if anyone uses it or knows if it sucks or not. Im strongly considering getting one.
