Sorry if this is a dumb question. I purchased a tripod on eBay with a Sactler look alike head. Mistake. The pan on this head is to tight. It's a 65mm head but when I look around, I only find 75mm and up bowl heads. Will a 75mm head work on the base but just ride a little higher? TIA

Not really. That extra 1 cm will raise the head up out of the bowl far enough that I think the clamp will not be long enough. And it would also probably be a bit wobbly.

Can you get the head repaired or can you repair it yourself?

I tried repairing it but the nut was inaccessible and the slotted scew head was too tight. Not sure who could do the repair.

Also, I can't seem to find any replacement 65mm bowl heads. Libec seems to be the only one ( I happen to have one already) and I can't find just the head for sale. Any pointers? TIA

There are other 65 mm bowl heads out there, not that I can think of one right now.
