i ask cause i'm really not that interested in wading through, or even looking at posts about hypothetical improvements / hdtv when all i want is what the original forum promised, and so far has delivered admirably :-?

ps. for those of you who were following my tripod quest - i ended up with a ds10, and i'm very happy...
