Kessler Crane™ - Quality Professional Camera Cranes, Camera Jib & Camera Support Products - KC-Lite Packages (http://www.kesslercrane.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=41&Itemid=104)

Saw this new jib on the market. Anyone tried it already? Looking for lightweight and quick deployment for events use.

There are a lot of fans and owners of the Kessler. I own an expensive jib arm, the Losmandy Porta Jib but if I were buying today and was just using it for the 5D MKII, I would consider a Kessler. Cheap and effective are good things to look for these days with the economy and if I were buying today, I wouldn't buy a $4k jib like I did. It is great but total overkill for a 5D MKII.

The Kesslers are a great deal.

All of these single rail system jibs seem to suffer from a lot of side to side rocking on up and down movements. Is there a way around this besides the obvious route of buying a double rail system jib?

This Jib, 4ft light alloy tube with ball bearing pivots.... No rock and roll!

Ideal for 5DMK2. The price is exceptional, tell Nicole where you viewed, for a further discount.

Yeah, i owned a kessler KC-8, it was good. I'm concerned about the single arm giving in to side to side movements. Unforuntately the shipping cost is the same price as the crane for me...
