Hi i did these with my stock XL1s

talk about anything about them, colorization, focus, grain, ANYTHING. a 14yr old has got to learn if he wants to be successful.

I understand that you want your work analzyed, but you could get a 1,000 contradictory responses on the qualities of the shots, due to the subjective nature of imaging art. Be more specific. Maybe mention what you were trying to accomplish in each of the shots' lighting, composition, framing, colors, etc...

Also it's very hard to imply a "filmlook" through stills. We should see what the motion of the video looks like. That would be the most telling sign. For the most part it looked properly exposed.

If this is really just plain old XL1S footage, it will either look like video (60/50i) or like frame mode video (soft, 30p). Besides those two options, and without postproduction color corretion/effects, video from the cam will look like video.
