I start shooting a mockumentary Tuesday 5th October in Tokyo on a JVC GR-PD1 in 'Hi Res' mode 25p for transfer to 35mm.

I also plan to shoot some scenes in DV at 25i, to impersonate family handycam footage, and that's what I'm posting about.

I can play the DV at 25i back on my computer screen and re-capture it with the camera in 'Hi-Res' mode, 25p and it looks great - a good quality live grab of just the crap interlaced quality I need!

But when I go to transfer to 35mm, will there be any probs with interlace or anything. Obviously I want these few DV scenes to look crap on 35mm - but would there be any unexpected surprises, i.e. would I get rising lines or anything?

Thanks.
