Hey guys,
I'm very unfamiliar with the HD format. How will you transfer footage from this camera to your computer, through firewire? I'm using final cut pro HD. Will editing be a pain or be easy? Just curious.

Editing uknown yet. Capture goes exactly the same in FCP, over
firewire indeed.

Actually, both Lumiere HD (www.lumierehd.com) and Aspect HD (www.cineform.com) will allow you to capture and put back both 720p and 1080i HDV. I believe the 1080i feature on both software apps should be available soon, if not now.
