I am using DVD Workshop 2 and keep having problem when burning a DVD. When I click burn, everytime it said "The disc is not empty or there is no disc in the burner". But I always inset a blank disc. I tried everything, I tried with different blank DVD and it still having the same message. Anyone can help?

1. is your burner on the supported list for DVDW 2?

2. are you running the latest version of DVDW 2?

3. is the media you are trying supported for your burner?

4. which operating system are you running?

Hi Rob, here is my answers of your questions:

1. Yes.

2. Yes.

3. Yes.

4. Pentium 4 1.7GB

What exactly happen was the DVD Workshop 2 did work for sometime when I burn the DVD, but since last week it keep saying there is no disc or the disc is not empty.

So what I am doing right now is to make an image file from DVD Workshop 2 and then burn it to DVD by Nero.

If that works then just stick with that. Otherwise I would try
a reinstall of the product. Something is obviously broken
somewhere. Did you by any chance install (Nero?) a burning
program AFTER DVDW2?

My last question was operating system (ie, which Windows),
not your processor <g>
