Gday all.
Been looking round the forum a little bit and decided to post.
I am a beginner in videography, editing etc, atm I am just a 1-man band doing sports shows for my cricket club (I am very into sports, my job is sports editor at my local newspaper), but want to learn and expand into bigger fields, maybe even do a short fillm.

Camera is a Sony VX2100
Have a 3 piece lighting kit. (not pro or anything, but good enough for what I want it for, I think, like most of my gear).
Have pretty poor audio equipment (is the next thing I want to upgrade)

I have just started getting myself other equipment.
Waiting on a production package 12 foot jib boom with lcd monitor, remote etc
Just received my new editing suite (Adobe Creative Suite 4 Production Premium)

Really what I need is some good audio and a few other "little" pieces to be comfortable with what I have got.
I have some man made stuff like a dolly and teleprompter and my studio is coming along pretty well.

Well that is enough about me, I am keen to get stuck into learning, although it is very, very hard to take it all in atm, so much information!
