The Situation: I have shot a wedding with Canon A1/HV20 in 60i; I have converted to the Cineform codec and edited in Vegas; I want to deliver on HD Blu-Ray.

The Assumptions: Given that I don't care about the 24p look, I assume the best project settings in Vegas are 29.9/fps@60i.

The Quesitions: Should I render the output to .avi Cineform interlaced at 60i@1920x1080? Specifically would you render out to Cineform or some other format? What would your DVDA settings be for best flicker-free results?

The Problem: My render looks excellent but my Blu-Ray flickers on my pc and will not play properly on a Sony Playstation3 which I was using to test it with.

Thanks!

I beleive you can select Burn - Blu-Ray from the tools menu. Or, you can render to MPEG2 or AVC then use DVD Architect.

I render to mp2 blu-ray template 1440X1080 60i. Since you used cineform files you may need to render to 1920X1080 instead of the setting I used, I don't know. What I do will play back fine from a blu-ray stand alone player, but I have not tried it on a PC or Playstation 3.
