I could be wrong here, but I think that William maybe referring to not wanting to have a Loop Selection automatically appear, when working? In which case go into Preferences and use the "Collapse loop region . .. ". I use this often when I find that this gets in the way. Try it: Tools | Preferences | Editing | and uncheck "Collapse loop region when no time selection is present" Grazie Edward Troxel September 6th, 2009, 06:21 AM I always leave the "Collapse Loop Region" turned on. Otherwise, you"ll ALWAYS have a selection area unless you manually resize it to nothing. This option will allow a single click on the timeline to get rid of the loop region. It does have some side effects if you use "i" and "o" in the trimmer, though - so if you see something you used to do acting odd, this may be the reason. Don Bloom September 6th, 2009, 07:12 AM yeah, I misread the post. I should know better than to answer anything techy at 11:30pm after working a gig. These old eyes get goofy at nite ;-) Mike Kujbida September 6th, 2009, 08:35 AM I should know better than to answer anything techy at 11:30pm after working a gig.
