Hi all,
thought i'd ask the experts (yes. thats you guys :). I've recently gotten myself a Glidecam 2000 Pro to use with my PD100. While running around shooting with it, i've noticed a tendancy for it to swing. I have balanced it so it falls down from 90 degrees to vertical in about 3 seconds, and it's evenly balanced (ie. lift of a flat surface it is levelled). but when moving it around it has a tendancy to tip over due to what im guessing is the force of the mass of the camera.
My question is then, would it be better if it was slightly more bottom heavy? will that prevent swinging? Or should i just fess up and start saving for a V-8 :P
