I'm new to the Panasonic DVX100A world and I have an idea for a cooking show. Can anyone suggest a decent entry level or mid level range lighting kit and sound mixer?
Thanks,
Linda

Can anyone suggest a decent entry level or mid level range lighting kit and sound mixer? Thanks, Linda Charles Papert January 19th, 2005, 08:14 PM Mid-level is a relative term of course, and many would consider the following recommendation to be high-level cost-wise. But since it was a system developed for shooting a cooking show on DV, I thought you might be interested in the Gyoury Lights (http://www.meansst.com/gyoury/default.htm)(read "A brief history"). I bought a set last year and am a big fan. Stefan Scherperel January 20th, 2005, 01:36 PM Another place you might try is rostronics.com. I just got a 2000W kit from them with softboxes and a case and it is great. You definatly cannot beat the price. The lights may not be as high a quality as some of the more expensive lights on the market, but they get the job done, and they are cheap. |
