Hi. Another question. Can anyone suggest what type of screw I could get that so that I could attach my Sony HVR-Z5E camera to a teleprompter. People have suggested a whitworth screw. I'm based in the UK and don't know where I could get one. I've attached a photo of the camera sitting on the teleprompter. The screw would need to be 1/2 inch max in length.Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks.

James, the tripod socket on all the Z series is 1/4inch BSW.

If you only need 1/2" I'd try a spare for a Manfrotto plate (Hague have them).

If you need longer then you'll have to buy setscrews from a specialist like NAMRICK : (http://www.namrick.co.uk) or www.ahc-camberley.co.uk. Bear in mind these bolts won't have the narrower neck to fit into camera plates so you'll have to do some metal work.
