Hi,

I have a desktop FS-1 drive. Does anyone know if there is any way to set up the FS-1 to record video feeds in the middle of the night.

I would like to have it all automated so that it will power up and begin recording at a set time. I know this can be done with a VCR but I couldn't find anyway to do such with the FS-1. Are there any devices that you can buy that will work with the FS-1 to allow you to record automaticly?
Can anyone help me? I would appriciate any suggestions.

Hi Nathan,

Unfortunately, there is not a way to do this on the FS-1 itself. However, using the GPI interface, a simple contact closure from an external timer should allow you to do this. Set GPI Function to Pause/Unpause.
