I could be wrong, but I think a lot of us would like to get our feet wet in 3-D, using a couple of cheaper cameras. I was wondering if Cineform might consider a low end version of its 3-D software?
View Full Version : Any chance of a NeoScene-priced 3D software? I was wondering if Cineform might consider a low end version of its 3-D software? David Taylor September 14th, 2009, 09:39 AM Hi Paul, We can see a need for a lower-priced Neo3D also. Right now we're continuing to add features to the existing version, most of which are for the higher-end market. I think once we get through these additions it might allow us to take a step back and redefine a version for lower-priced cameras and workflows. No schedule yet, but we hear the request. Paul Cascio September 14th, 2009, 11:04 AM Thanks for the encouraging response. I think it would give Cineform a nice foothold in what is certain to be an emerging market. For most of us, 3-D would initially be an experiemental item. As such, NEO-3D would certainly be a welcome product. |
