I thought I heard that you could invert your image in the LCD viewfinder and turn everything upside down.

Why would one do this? For the 35mm adapters that may not invert the image.

Maybe I had been drinking, but I don't see where this is done.

Hi Blake
I vaguely remember that the GS400/500 series guys managed to get an image flip. Do a quick search on the Pana3CCD forum and there are posts there about flipping your image but I have a feeling it concerns sticking a pin thru two of the LCD cable loom BUT I could be wrong!!
I used to just mount a small ladies purse mirror under the screen and voila, you have a flipped image!! Just for interest if you buy a small vehicle reversing LCD monitor they can both switch the image left/right AND upside down so you get an accurate viewpoint!!
I think they still make a little 3.5" model that you can slip onto your hotshoe?

Hi Blake,

Yes, you would want to flip the image for 35mm adapters that don't invert the image. I gave a presentation on the HMC150 with Robert Neal last week at WEVA. Robert pushed the LCD button, inside the LCD door, and it flipped the image, so you must be able to select whether that button adjust the brightness of the LCD or the ability to flip the LCD.

I hope that helps, and I will ask Robert where in the menu that option is located. If you find the answer before I do please post it here.

Mark, that's absolutely right!

Menu > SW Mode > LCD > LCD REV

That's all she wrote!
