hi i did a search for this but i'm still not sure whats best to clean the lens of my dvx, i spend quite a bit of cash on it so dont wanna mess up the lens, can anyone recommend something? what about a slightly damp cloth for cleaning spectacles? cheers

Any camera shop sells lens wipes, brushes and a blower. You should be able to find a cleaning kit for under $10. That would do the trick. Also add a screw-on UV or Sky filter over the lens. That costs maybe $30 and shields your lens perfectly. So if a rock or anything hits the lens it scratches the $30 replaceable filter rather than the lens which is major repair $$$.
