I was doing some follow-up research on converting MPEG-TS to MPEG-PS and have noticed that MEncoder does the job rather nicely, and in a batch too!

I was thinking of converting the footage that I haven't gotten around to editing yet to MPEG-TS and try editing it in Premiere 1.5 to see how well it works with no special plug-ins, has anyone done this yet?

I apologize if this question has been asked already; I've been out of the loop for a while.
