I made some graphics in Apple Motion 3 and am trying to export for Final Cut Pro and DVD Studio Pro. But when i export the video that is exported is just black screen. The length is correct but there is no picture.

I recall that when I used motion 3 that something similar (Black video) happened to me once.
I deleted the following file; user/Library/Preferences" and trash 'com.apple.motion.plist' and empty it from the trash, then restart motion. This worked for me.

I tried this and did not fix the problem. What setting should i use to export to FCP? i have tried several and it is all black.

So i imported the Motion File into FCP and that showed up but once i rendered the file it goes black again. Any ideas?

Just in case anybody else runs into this problem im sure this is not correct but it worked in a pinch. I dragged the motion file into I Movie HD then exported it to .DV then drooped that into FCP and it worked fine.
