Is this new product related to the elphel or Apertus projects ?

In case they use open hardware designs or open source code, they should mention and publish this.

at $50k per camera, i doubt they will sell a lot.
you can still do better with two EX1.
I am currently trying to build a setup with 2 small cameras.
must be 3CCD (or CMOS), shoot progressive 1080 if possible and have a view finder (the easiest way to check convergence).
the other way would be to build a image mixer to switch the components from 2 cams and feed the signal to a nanoflash recorder. still way cheaper.
or to use an image mixer to mix composite SD signal from EX3 for example and feed a small lcd, just for convergence (add a led to drive shutter glass and you got the perfect setup.)
and way cheaper than 50K

Disarmingly similar to the starship Enterprise.
