My Grooms Prep which incorporates a photo montage... Kind of 'MTV UK' style...

The client's loved it but I would appreciate any comments from you. Probably not to everyones liking, but thats only to be expected, it's a subjective art form.

I thought the video was choppy like you used a really low shutter speed, kinda hurt my eyes. Although the picture cuts in the montage I enjoyed and thought it was very well done. The choppy video could just be the file size though.

I liked it, although you might need some faster cuts, maybe be a little more unexpected and not only shaky :) . In between, I thought, that you might not have had the camera in full manual, as the focus and shutter pumped a bit, that also might be due to compression. As said, I like it - even more when people stay flexible :) .

Thanks for your comments guys, much appreciated. :)

Jason, it was encoded at 15fps (I think) in order to keep the file size down, yet maintain the quality of the image. That may have increase the 'choppyness' a little.
MZ - I never use 'auto', ever. The shakeyness, changes in focus and exposure were all intentional as my attempt to get a 'pop-video' or 'MTV' feel into the piece. Not sure I understand your comment about flexibility, but I try to experiment where possible and challenge the 'traditional' image of wedding video a bit. That beginning is not indicative of the rest of the video really, but a 'creative' intro. Though I must admit the rest is not too trad. either...

Thanks again - comments are always appreciated.

"I never use 'auto', ever" - That's the man :) .

"but I try to experiment where possible and challenge the 'traditional' image of wedding video a bit" - That's just what I meant!
