Hello I'm a newbie to the board.

I just received the above mentioned for my XL1. I'm lost with putting it on.

I tried to go to the Lightwave website but of course it is no longer up and running.

Do I need to take off the already attached foam sock that is on the XL1 mic to attach it or am I supposed to be able to slip this over it?

I tried to slip it over without taking anything off and it will not fit.

Either I am crazy or they shipped me the wrong model.

Any help would be appreciated.
