We just shot a movie.
For dialog, we used a Sennheiser MKH-60 with Rycote setup on a boom pole.
We now have a MKH-70, with the appropriate Rycote and boom pole.
Is it acceptable to record one actor using the MKH-60 and another actor in the same scene with the MKH-70? Or would it be better using two MKH-60's.
Before we purchaed the MKH-70, we consulted with Sennheiser and they said both mikes will sound the same for close up dialog.
We will be testing this before our next shoot. However, I wanted to learn from the experiences of others.
Thanks for your assistance.
