yeah yeah... but it's a *dry* heat. :)

Hello everyone. I just ran across this website today and found a few answers to some questions I had. I never knew this site existed, so I'm pretty excited to have found others in the DV world that I can get to know. Anyone else here from AZ? I'm always looking to meet other videographers in the area.

My name is Webb Pickersgill and I recently went full time on my own video production business, Bassline Digital (link in sig). I've been doing DV work for a few years now and I took a leap of faith to start a video career after working web development for almost 10 years. For me it's not about the money, it's about doing what I enjoy! As the saying goes, "Do what you enjoy, the money will follow," which I believe 1000%.

I own 2 Canon XL2 NTSC cameras, and one of them I decked out with a 16x Manual Lens and FU-1000 viewfinder. In post, I run the Adobe Video Collection Pro (yes, it's an actual *legal* copy, lol). I've recently added a rather large Smartsound library to my collection as well as 3 of the Digital Juice Editor's Toolkits.. both are SWEEEET!

That's enough for now.. I'm gonna start checking out some of the boards! Take care -Webb

Webb, welcome tot he forums. I am in Phoenix as well. There are a lot of talented people in town, a good community for videography and indie filmmaking.
