I have a bunch of JVC 720p footage shot on a HD10.
I now have a FX1. The 720p footage plays back on the sony camcorder, but FCP doesnt seem to capture it.

Any insight?

It's not supported by the camera. See page 91 of the manual.

So basically I need a jvc camera or deck to use the 720p material.

If I do that, FCP will support the footage/jvc deck?

I tried to use my JVC 30000 DVHS deck with FCP5 and the FX1 and no such luck...
