I film a variety of projects, interviews, on-locations etc using a Panasonic HMC-151 camera. I have previously used cheap halogen lights, but its time to move on! I bought a Diva-Lite 400, which is great for general purpose set ups. Can anyone recommend what I should use to complete a simple set-up? My budget is by no means "big", but any ideas would be appreciated. Dedolights would be great...but too pricey for me really. I do some Chromakey work, so the key word is multi-pupose! And reasonably portable! Im also based in the UK, to UK-centric answers would be appreciated : )

Thanks

I end up saying this every post where someone asks "What should I buy".

What is Your budget?

All we know at this point is a Dedo light kit is too expensive for you.
................................................................................................

Quick and easy... pickup a stand to hold a reflector or foam core, for fill from your Diva light.

Pickup a used Arri 150w Fresnel or LTM 100 pepper, as a back/hair light.

Pickup a used Arri 650w Fresnel or LTM 420 pepper + a C-Stand and a sheet of foam core/cucolorus, for interesting backgrounds.

Simple/Basic

Hmm, lets say £500? But I guess Id like to know what budget people would suggest is suitable.

Sounds like a good kit.

Other peoples budgets are of unimportance.
For example... some would use your entire kit budget on just nice light stands.

You might want to invest a few $$$ from your budget into reading material on the subject.

Good Luck!
