I am having a devil of a time finding the MXF converted files on my old PC. I have installed Clip Browser V2.5. Then imported from a HD a MXF CD converted clip from my Mac Pro.

When I open the clip browser I can not find the MXF clip and the only option I have in the PC finder window is Mpeg4. What am I missing?

You want the Sony XDCAM MXF viewer PDZ-VX10, not clip browser. Clip Browser is for EX mp4 files.
