I had to set the hv20 to output DV wide since flash media encoder 3.0 doesn't seem to support hdv firewire input.

I have flash media encoder deinterlacing, and resizing the 720x480 to 640x360. Audio is stereo 11025 hz and 24kbps datarate.

Let me know what you think. I'm pretty happy with the streaming quality. I only have it on a h.264 500kbps variable bitrate. I tried much higher, but looked the same to me. Good enough for web video.

As for the hv20 image settings... I'm leaving it set to auto during the day, and then go TV priority 1/30th at night. That seems to really improve the low light.

Well it's up again for 2013. And yes Im still using a hv20 camcorder. Was thinking about doing something different (read the tech behind the webcam) but it would cost a bit to upgrade. I do have a canon 7d... but as everyone knows it doesn't output live hdmi quite right.
