Part of a 12-hour film project (written, directed, filmed, edited, scored and mixed in 12 hours). We shot with both a 5D with the 70-200mm f/4 and a 7D with the 85mm f/1.8. They cut together quite well despite the 30fps / 29.97fps issue, although we did have some color balance matching due to the ND filter on the 85mm. Audio was recorded with a JuicedLink CX231 on the 5D with Magic Lantern (+0 dB analog, +6 dB digital). Rack focuses were with the Cinevate Durus follow focus.

No overheating problems with the 7D, despite three hours of principal photography in the South Carolina heat.

It's really weird seeing shots like this with somebody wearing a gamecock hat. Very cool. Can't wait to see it. If you ever need a 5D shooter, I'm right up in Columbia...
