I just added a post on my blog (http://blogs.adobe.com/toddkopriva/2009/10/future-versions-of-after-effec.html) about the announcement today that the next major version of After Effects will be a 64-bit application.

This is awesome awesome news! I'm so glad I went with 64bit Vista when I built my workstation!

I can't believe there is not more people replying to this kind of news.

I'm really excited about it, too, but am too swamped with stuff to jump out of my seat just yet. Maybe in December I'll scream or something. :-)

Would be nice to break past the 4-gig RAM limit.
