Love to hear your thoughts on flying the 1Dm4!

Was that the Flyer?

Looks like a flyer to my untrained eye. Chaz is DA MAN!

Looking at the attitude of the battery, and the screen I think its a pilot :)

Looks good tho :)

He also did a comprehensive review of the pilot, complete with Demo film of him at work with it.

Check it out : http://www.dvinfo.net/article/production/camsupport/steadicam-pilot-review-part-one.html

Definately not a Pilot. The sled pole is too big.

I think this may be his running rig, which uses his PRO vest, a Flyer arm, and a sled custom made from various parts. You can see it here:

Correct, Dave! It was Charles's "Nimblecam" rig - his Flyer arm and vest with a custom sled. He discusses it here: Canon 1D MK IV - The Steadicam Forum (http://www.steadicamforum.com/index.php?showtopic=10742)

Sounds like a pretty cool setup, though apparently mounting it all up was a hassle. A very interesting read!
