HI,

I just did my first job with Canon XL-H1 and FS-4 HD Pro, Sync, tape and FS-4, however I now downloaded all files to my computer and thee are around 350 clips. When I try to import them to Premiere 4 about 10% of files give me error and I can not import them to the Premiere, it says they are damaged or not usable, why is that?

Any help in much appreciated.
Regards
Mitchell

Mitchell, what format did you use? Also what error does it says?

Not sure with that DTE model but with the FS-CV, Quicktime files does not work on PC, only on Macs. On PC I only use Canopus for standard and M2T for HD whithout any problem. You may want to try to open it with another player like VLC Player and see if it opens ok there. If it does convert them into another format friendly to Premiere.

Hope you find a solution pronto,

Alex

That's odd, I've been using one of my FS-4 HDs with my XL H1 for nearly a month now without any problems with the M2T format and importing them into Premiere CS4/After Effects CS4 without any issues.
