Hey I'm about to shoot a sunset.

One thing I'm worried about is the sky getting darker as the sun goes down. I'd like to set everything on manual but I'm not sure if this will be a good idea because the settings may need to change as the sun sets on the horizon?

I want the shot to have this sort of look:

Can I get a few tips to do this right? Thanks!

First tip: don't look at the sun though the viewfinder, especially with a telephoto lens.

Second tip: shoot manual and expose to the right.

Third tip: don't use auto white balance.
