Can someone list cams under $1000 with full hd video recording and if possible 300fps slow motion recording?

Yeah not many choices for under $1000. There are some full HD cameras you could choose from, and there is a few that can do up to 300fps but there isn't any that can do both.

What about Casio Exilim PRO EX-F1? Does it do the job?

HD2000A has an f/1.8 lens verses f/2.0 on the FH1A. The HD2000A adds a mic input.

To many people, the HD2000A is arguably the king in low-light capabilities when it comes to consumer camcorders. The same can not be said about it's stabilizer and auto focusing capabilities, but then again, you get a lot already for such a low price.

For good pricing, you should check places such as Amazon and B&H.

HD2000A 'pulls' me a lot ;) Some recommendations for shops in Europe (am from Slovenia, near Italy)?

Where does it say officially that the camera you mention does 1080 60p recordings?
The Sanyo FH1/A and the HD2000/A are the only ones that does to my knowledge.

The Samsung site states 1080i as max.

Humble apologies, I just checked my Samsung manual and the HMX-104 is indeed listed as being 1080i. The weird thing is the clips it produces decode in Quicktime Pro and Cineform HDLink as p60 - there must be some sort of a software deinterlace happening with those decoders, at least on my system.

Ordered Sanyo FH1 (won't need mic input), and also, I prefer design of FH1 vs HD2000 since sometimes I just like to put camera down and let it keep recording... With HD2000 a tripod is always a must...

The best thing I ever bought was the canon hv20 for $600 used. I think they discontinued this camera... but if you can find one... it's worth considering.
