I know this is one more question about overheating but I searched few hours many forums and didn't find someone who did precise test how long is possible to shot in that mode when overheating icon came up?

I tested indoor at 22 °C few times and overheating always started at 16 minutes. I think this is too quick. Does someone have longer and better result?
Also I tested 1080p@25p and max time I can shoot when overheating is going to be visible is 50 minutes.

At Vimeo some guy have 1 hour and 30 minutes without overheating in 25p.

My settings was:
ISO 1000
1/30
f/2.8
manual focus
shooted from tripod
indoor

Now I tested same settings but ISO was at 320, and got 40 minutes until warning red icon showed up.
So maybe this is the reason some people got better result. In low light environment 320 ISO is low and display is dimmer, so camera is colder for long period.

Can some 7D owner do the test with same settings pls?

The only time I get the warning is when I'm shooting 60p (NTSC land here) I can shoot all day a 1080 30p and never get it half an hour at 60p and it shows up. BTW mine is back at Canon now for a dead pixel.....

Ok, you said at 1080p you didn't have problems, but did you test shooting at least one hour without pause?
I don't know what to do, 50 minutes 1080p25p seems too short for me, maybe I have to try to change my camera, but it would be nice if other 7D users confirm their test, so I can be sure I have wright to change my camera and people in the shop don't tell me this is normal.
