I just updated my NeoScene to 1.5. I read in the update log that it was supporting the meta data gathered gathered from files shot on my Canon DSLR.

I converted a clip using 1.5 and then imported it into Premier CS4 and Bridge. I'm not seeing any specific camera/clip meta data. Am I doing something wrong?

Any help as to how to access this and the other new functionality for NeoScene 1.5 is greatly appreciated!

In Cineform Firstlight, load the converted Cineform video file into the Firstlight software, and goto the Metadata tab and you will see all the Metadata fields.

Chad, Leo is correct. While NeoScene doesn't have the power of First Light for metadata burn-in and layout, we wanted to start collecting has much metadata as possible for all our products. This would be for future metadata handling, and to encourage more upgrades to NeoHD.

Thanks gentlemen! I can see the value in that.

...we wanted to start collecting has much metadata as possible for all our products.
Does this mean that we can expect to see the timecode in AVCHD files filmed with the Panasonic HMC151 carrie over to the converted files HDLink creates, so we can read it in Pr CS4 and in CS5 when it becomes aviable?

And maybe have HDLink to read the meta data from the source clips and actually stitch long shootings together? If i shoot one hour footage on the HMC151 it ends up as three .MTS files that one must manually stitch togehter prior to converting the files. It would be great if HDLink could do it per default. AVCHD is currently time of day timecode, looking to extract more in the future.
