Your not asking much! A lifetime of knowledge in one response!

Practice, practice, practice!

Read everything you can, watch other people's material, plan everything as best you can.

And then practice some more.

Expect the unexpected!

The way I always say it is, "Ready, Fire, Aim"

The best way to get started is just to do it. Find people that want what you're offering, and start shooting. The rest can come later. The most important thing is to just get started.

I just started a few months ago myself in this business. Expect to invest some money, but a lot more time and effort. Talent alone isn't enough in business. Doing the work isn't nearly as difficult as getting the work, if you are technically inclined, and have some artistic talent.

Once you have some satisfied clients, then business begins to grow. Maybe not as fast as you would want. You're going to need a combination of capital, tenacity, talent, technical skill and knowledge, tenacity, communication skill, tenacity, salesmanship, luck, and tenacity to succeed. The vast majority of new business startups fail. If something is really worth doing, don't expect it to be easy. That's life. There are risks, but there are also rewards. The difference between a dreamer and visionary is the visionary pursues the dream. He has a plan and a purpose, and makes necessary corrections.

I'm new to this business. But I'm not new to life.
