Hi Benny,

I downloaded the first file (00040.MTS) to take a look. The image seems very noisy, but you say you shot at 0db. Is this the impression you get as well? My Z1 wouldn't be as good in low light, probably, but I don't remember seeing noise like that until I gain up.

Thanks a million for posting these. It's very helpful.

Hi Benny,

I downloaded the clips, put them on a stick and they played back great on my WD Media Player (awesome little device). I'm very impressed so far.

Any chance you could post some green screen footage? I know all green screen setups are all a little different, but I would be curious how well this new cam coupled with the high bitrate AVCHD codec would key.

Many thanks for posting the clips,
Bob

Hi Benny & Friends!

I borrowed your clips to test Avid's workflow. I installed the app under the 30day trial period.
So far, it imported fine (some clips i got errors).

I'm doing a really quick test of basic edit, layers, fx, audio plug-ins, etc... I'll try to post it soon.

Thanks for the clips again!

Hi Bob.

I have done a green screen test. YouTube - Sony NXCAM Chroma Key Results (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hjErt7aFqSc)
